His family issued a statement on Saturday morning confirming his death while they await further police enquiry. "It is with great sadness that we acknowledge the untimely and tragic death of our beloved son on the evening of February 10, 2023." We're waiting for more information from Durban police.
Kiernan Jarryd Forbes was a son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend to us, but most importantly, he was the father of his adored daughter Kairo. To many, he was AKA, SUPAMEGA, BHOVA, and a slew of other affectionate nicknames bestowed upon him by his legions of fans. Our son was cherished, and he returned the favour. In this time of sadness, we ask for your compassion, space, and time to gather as a family to plan the future days.
We thank you for your love and support thus far, and we ask that you continue to keep us in your prayers and lift us up in the Lord.
Forbes, Tony, and Lynn"
